READY TO RACE

Hi Everyone Its 1.00PM here in Perth. The boys are going through all the checks on the race car to ensure that everything is ready for eliminations. We have checklists that we go through between each round and at the start of each day. At the start of each day we take the body off and do a thorough inspection of the chassis, body, short motor, computers, etc to ensure its good to go for the days racing. We are facing Mark Mariani in the first round. We have made a few changes to the car and are comfident of some solid run tonight. The first round will be at 6.00 PM Perth time. Ben

 

POST QUALIFYING

08/10/2010 - 11.55PM

We have finished qualifying. We ended up 4th with a 5.215 at 263.46 MPH in the second session. In the first round we overpowered the track at around 1.6 seconds and ran a 8.720. For the second round we made a few changes and made it through that section but smoked the tyres in the top end and Darren had to get off it. All in all we were happy with the second run and we have a good base line for tomorrow. We will face Mark Mariani. DMR GO CART WORLD CHAMPS	08/10/2010 - 8.32AM
We have been in Perth for the last few days getting the car ready for the race meeting. It has been pretty laid back. Yesterday the boys went to the go cart track and a DMR world go-cart champion was crowned. Qualifying begins today and the team are pumped and ready to go. The first qualifier is at 7.00PM tonight. PACKED AND READY TO GO

05/01/2010 - 8.30PM

We are all packed and ready to go. We are leaving Mildura tonight at 12.00AM to get to Adelaide in time for our flight at around 7.00AM. We should be in Perth by 8.00AM Perth time. The plan is have an easy day tomorrow. We will wash the truck and set up the awning and tables. Then on Thursday we will get to work finalising everything for the race meeting. We have made a few small changes to the setup and we are confident of a good result this weekend. We have a new sponsor this weekend.
