Everyone
Sorry it has taken so
long to put the blog up from the
Summernationals, we have been very
busy.
As you will all know
the Summernationals was cancelled
due to rain. We did get one
qualifying session in which yielded
a 5.021 and 293 mph which put us in
third qualifying position. We had
made some pretty major changes to
our clutch setup prior to the event
and on a marginal track we decided
to be cautious. We were very happy
with the run, we received high mph
points from the event which was a
bonus.
Our truck went
straight to Melbourne from Sydney
for the Motorvate Melbourne show
which was on Saturday. It was a
great event, with a large number of
cars and spectators attending the
event. Hopefully the government will
get the message.
The car is now back
in Mildura for a few days before we
travel over to Port Augusta for the
Port Augusta Motor Show. We are
looking forward to putting on a good
show for everyone in Port Augusta.
That will be the end
of a very busy three weeks for the
Shannon's Insurance Top Fuel
Dragster. We would really like to
thank Shannon's for their support of
DMR over the past three weeks.
I haven't got any
photos at the moment but I will try
to have some up by the end of the
week.
